Dad on the Mend

Dad is doing well with his new pacemaker, which was finally installed 4/09/09...his stay in the hospital left him weak and so he is recuperating in a rehab center in Bothell close to their assisted living apartment...he is working daily with PT and it is our hope is to have him "released" soon...he needs to be stable enough in his walking; especially in the middle of the night..so as not to need constant nursing care...he is looking forward to his visit with the doc tomorrow...actually, I think he is looking forward to a few hours of escape !!! he needs constant reminders that his stay is temporary and his health is improving daily...lots of morale boosts...and lots of love...
